Watch – Knicks’ J.R. Smith Hits Game-Winner Over Bobcats
On the night Kobe Bryant made NBA history, becoming the youngest player ever to score 30,000 career points, New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith decided to do his best Kobe impression.
With 3.4 seconds left in the Knicks’ game against the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday night and the game tied at 98, Jason Kidd inbounded the ball to Smith at the top of the arc, and he drove left and pulled up for a leaning jumper with less than a second remaining. Smith’s shot hit nothing but net, and the 27-year-old stood still in a triumphant pose. Watch Smith’s impressive shot for yourself below.
See, Kobe, you aren’t the only one who can change a game on a single shot.
